One of Oliver Stones most unrecognized movies ever, and the third part of his

so called 'Vietnam Trilogy'.

Platoon (1986), Born On The 4th Of July (1989), Heaven & Earth (1993).



In vivid pictures it tells the true life story of the Vietnamese woman Le Ly (Hiep Thi Le). She evolves from a girl to a
soldier, and from a mother to a wife, when she finally meets the american soldier Steve Butler (Tommy Lee Jones). As
they finally go back to the States all together, storm clouds are forming between the independent and traditionally
raised Le Ly and the emotional distressed Steve Butler.



A very emotional and unconventional movie, fantasticly photographed, casted and scored.
